The Team

Katerina Provata
Katerina is a local Corfiot mother and an educator specializing in music and movement education, with a strong background in early childhood learning. For many years, she has worked closely with preschool-aged children, accompanying them in their learning through play, music, and movement.
Her experience with pedagogical approaches such as the Orff system and the Montessori method has shaped a way of teaching that is experiential, free, and deeply connected to nature and the integration of the arts. Katerina envisions a school that respects each child’s individual rhythm, nurtures the joy of learning, and offers the space and time for children to express themselves freely and discover who they are.
As President of the Social Enterprise, Katerina represents the Boschetto School project to local and national authorities and institutions. She plays a leading role in networking and relationship-building, helping connect the school with educators, families, and wider community partners.

Sofianna Spyropoulou
Sofiana is a member of the Boschetto team and represents the educational team in particular. She is a graduate of the special education department with knowledge and experience in intercultural education.
She is enthusiastic about trying out and discovering new frameworks, methods, and tools related to education. Her great passion is to combine experiential learning through nature and the arts.
Through a youth exchange program, (European Solidarity Corps) she came into contact with forest schools and libertarian schools in Poland. This experience was a turning point for her to later join the Boschetto team.
She mainly plays a role in facilitating outdoor educational activities and supporting the coordination of the group's organization.

Ageliki Papadopoulou
Ageliki is a mother of two Greek–French children who has chosen to settle and build family life on Corfu island. Deeply committed to child-centered, holistic education and multicultural learning environments, she has been actively involved in alternative education initiatives on the island for several years.
For Ageliki, the creation of Boschetto School has become a life mission. She is driven by the vision of making Corfu a place where international families can live year-round, and children can thrive on all levels.
Within the school project, Ageliki holds a central role. She is responsible for navigating the legal process, leading the building renovation, shaping the business plan and coordinating fundraising efforts. She also actively supports networking, communication, marketing, and social media outreach for the school.

Areti Vamvoura
Areti joined the Boschetto project through her academic research on the school and quickly became a committed member of the team, drawn by the vision of creating a holistic, nature-centered learning environment.
With a background in Special Education and a Master’s degree in Outdoor & Sustainability Education and Art-Based Environmental Education, she brings valuable experience from forest schools, Waldorf settings, and artistic learning communities in Sweden.
At Boschetto, Areti supports the development of the educational curriculum and helps coordinate community-based activities and workshops, contributing to a learning approach rooted in experiential and embodied education.

Anna Vatheuer
Anna is part of the Boschetto team from its very beginning. Originally from Germany, she has been living on Corfu for the past four years, where she actively supports the growth and vision of the school.
She mainly works within the advertising and PR organization, contributing to communication, outreach, and the creative representation of the project. As a committed team member and co-creator, Anna shares a deep belief in the values of Boschetto and continues to support its development with dedication and enthusiasm.
